Yatris go past Yoddhas

At the Kohalpur cricket ground, Yoddhas made a challenging 144-4 in 20 overs on a back of half century from Pranit Thapa Magar. Yatris, however, overhauled the total in 18.2 overs for the loss of six wickets. Opener Aadil Khan topscored for Yatris with a 21-ball 35 and Bishal Khatri chipped in 29 for the winning side. Bashir Ahmed played a crucial role in Yatris’ victory smashing a 14-ball 31.
Earlier, opener Rit Gautam gave a good start to Yoddhas making 32 runs but it was No 4 batsman Thapa Magar who lifted their innings with a 28-ball half century. Dipendra Rawat and skipper Siddhant Raj Shahi chipped in 20 runs apiece.
Yatris are tied on six points with Dangali Gorkhas and Rolpa Gorillas but the latter lead the table on net run rate. Gorkhas, second in the table, and Gorillas have played four matches each.
In the second match of the day, Gorkhas eased to a seven-wicket victory over Banke Blasters. Gorkhas restricted Blasters to 132-7 in 20 overs after they elected to field first. Gorkhas then reached the target in 18.3 overs after man-of-the-match Hari Chhetri smashed a 15-ball 42. Manoj Sunar also contributed a run-a-ball 39 for them.
Earlier, Bishal KC was the leading scorer for Blasters with 39 runs from 24 balls, while Roman Bam (29) was their next best scorer. Skipper Sandeep Sunar took two wickets for Gorkhas.
