Speaking at an event organised jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Nepal Council of World Affairs, the visiting First Deputy Minister Dacic said bilateral relations between the two countries should expand in trade, investment, tourism, education, cultural and technical sectors.
Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ghanashyam Bhandari said both landlocked countries Nepal and Serbia have presented common views in the international and regional forums in the recent past.
The operation of a WaiWai production plant in Serbia by Nepal’s Chaudhary Group has opened the door to expand trade. Business houses of the two countries should expand their ties. Dacic, who arrived Kathmandu on Friday, will meet with President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during his stay in the capital, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
