Five noted litterateurs awarded

At the event, books entitled Raat ko Joon and Potomac Kinar, authored by Ram Prasad Panta, a veteran travel writer and chairperson of Dayitwa Pratisthan, were launched by cultural expert Satya Mohan Joshi. The books are based on Panta’s travels in Africa and America respectively.
Following the launch, the foundation presented “Dayitwa Bangmaya Vishista Award-2074” to writers Bishwaraj Atreya and Devi Prasad Banbase. Atreya, an actor, director, poet, and an expert in Nepali, Sanskrit, and Awadhi language, is known for his contributions in Sanskrit literature and Banbase is a popular children’s author.
Similarly, the Dayitwa Bangmaya Baristha Award-2074 were awarded to Kaladhar Kafle and Ram Bahadur Pahadi at the event. Kafle is a poet and travel writer and Pahadi is known for his ghazals and lyrics. Likewise, The Harikala Dayitwa Bangmaya Rachana Puraskar-2074 was given to Krishna Pradhan. This annual award is handed out to the best contributor for Dayitwa, a bimonthly literary magazine, for the year.
