They say travelling is the best therapy and I couldn’t agree more. Whenever I need a break from the mundane, I long for the blues and the greens, for the hills and the mountains. There is a reason Nepal attracts so many seeking to draw from this boundless fountain of tranquility, why not drink to your fill?

Three years ago I realised that trekking was the best way to cope with all that life throws at me and to recalibrate and reconnect. So, when life in the city becomes a little too much to take, I just pack my bags and head north.

They also say that travelling is the best school. The routes I have taken have taught me lessons that you don’t find in textbooks. For instance, when you lose your way—like I did for three days during my Panch Pokhari trek—follow the prayer flags, always. These flags lead you to where the gods reside and the gods lead you to where the humans are. The trails also teach you the art of just being in the moment, while testing your patience and endurance. These trails will shape you in a way that schools or jobs never can.

In this collection are the couple of trails that I have walked upon in the last three years and shaped who I have come to be.
