Some leaders don’t want to empower federal units

“With the shortage of resources, employees and the procedural delay, it seems that some influential leaders of the major parties are in favour of keeping the power with the federal government,” CM Gurung said at the ongoing interaction on Parliamentary Practice and Law Formulation Procedure organised for provincial ministers, secretaries and lawmakers in Pokhara.
The chief minister claimed that some leaders were trying to weaken the provincial government by showing that the federal ruling system is extremely expensive affair.
He urged everyone to be wary of the leaders who have traditional mindset and want to keep
power with the central government.
“All the employees have been deputed by the centre. The province does not have even a single human resource of its own. The province government is facing problems preparing plans and allocating budget due to the procedural hassle in managing the employees,” said CM Gurung. (PR)
