Speaking at the 12th general convention of the Nepal National Teachers Organisation in the Capital on Wednesday, PM Oli said that anyone in the Council of Ministers who does not know how to operate a laptop would be sacked.
“I have already said in the Council of Ministers meeting that we will make the office paperless within six months. The meeting’s programmes and agenda will be discussed using laptops,” the PM said, adding that the ministers can take help from their assistants in operating laptop for six months.
“After six months, we will bid adieu to ministers who fail to operate laptop on their own.”
PM Oli also said the government aims to take strides in making the nation IT-friendly soon.
