Former home minister Shahi no more

Jun 4, 2018-Dan Bahadur Shahi, former home minister, passed away on Sunday morning. He was 76. Shahi, who was suffering from kidney-related ailment, died at the Dhapasi-based Grande Hospital where he had been admitted two months ago. Shahi, who hailed from Doti district, had also served as zonal administration chief. He was appointed the home minister by erstwhile king Gyanendra Shah. Shahi is survived by his two wives, three daughters and two sons. His last rites were carried out on Sunday. (RSS)
