Lately, a number of compelling graphic intensive games have come out but there aren’t many laptops at an affordable price range capable of handling them seamlessly. Every gamer wants to play computer games without being bogged down by a slow operating system, but most laptops capable of running cutting-edge games come with exorbitant price tags. Despite the prevalence of expensive laptops, there are also some inexpensive ones that have great performance. Here we will be discussing some budget gaming laptops, which are able to handle heavy duty games and still operate without a hitch.

HP Omen 15t

HP Omen 15t is designed like a fighter jet with an emphasis on sharp lines and angles. Its distinctive and playful design features make it easily recognisable as a laptop specialised for gaming. The device is primarily composed of plastic and there is no aluminum or any other metal reinforcing the structure. Nonetheless, the laptop still feels sturdy.

Coupled with the fighter jet motif, the Red backlight on the keyboard gives the laptop an even more sci-fi look. The keys require 70 grams of actuation force, along with 1.2 mm key travel (the distance the keys have to be pushed down before the keystroke is recognised). Additionally, the A, S, D, and F keys on the keyboard are highlighted red, which is really handy while gaming.

In terms of display, the Omen 15t comes with a 15.6-inchIPS panel—the ideal size for portable gaming. The display also comes with decent viewing angles. And while the colour accuracy is only average, it will fulfill your gaming needs.

Since the laptop falls under the gaming genre, it is its performance that matters most. To ensure a smooth and lag-free performance, the device comes with the Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor aided by 8GB of RAM. This setup ensures smooth performance even when multitasking with a number of software. The users can increase the RAM to 16GB if the default amount proves to be insufficient. To further enhance your performance in the gaming arena, the Omen 15t comes with a GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card. With a capable GPU and a remarkable processor, users can run graphic intensive apps like Photoshop and Adobe Aftereffects, not to mention

the latest games like PUBG and Battlefield 1.

Acer VX 15

The VX 15 is similar in design to the Predator and Acer Nitro series. However, the material used on the outer case is entirely plastic, with no rubberised finish up top. Consequently, the laptop looks and feels cheap and flimsy. But looks are only skin deep.

The keyboard on the device is quite good. The square shaped (15mm x 15mm) keys are ideal for typing. In addition, the keyboard is backlit with red light and works flawlessly. The power button is also included in the keyboard, so users best be aware of the key to avoid pressing it accidentally in the middle on an intense game! Also note that the trackpad on the laptop lies just beneath the keyboard, slightly to the left rather than at the centre and first time users might find this uncomfortable.

The Acer VX 15 comes with the powerful Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor with 8GB of DDR4 RAM alongside it. The RAM can be expanded up to 16GB. In terms of storage, the device has a 1 TB mechanical drive (Hard Disk Drive). To handle graphic intensive tasks, 4GB is dedicated to the graphics card, GeForce GTX 1050 GPU.

Dell 7567

The Dell 7567 looks stunning with the polished red color up top. Despite being almost entirely composed of plastic, this cleverly crafted device is quite robust. The keyboard comes with a red backlight and the keys have a red accent to them.

In terms of performance, Dell 7567 is the best one on the list with the most capable GPU. The 7567 features a slightly better GeForce 1050 Ti graphics card with 4GB dedicated to graphics, which ensures that the device runs smoothly without fluctuating frame rates or unwanted lags. However, the Core i5 processor on this device is slightly less powerful than what most of its competitors are offering. With that said, this laptop remains fast despite a slightly slow processor, thanks to the SSD (Solid-State Drive) that makes the loading of apps and games take comparatively less time.

In terms of display, the 7567 comes with a 15.6-inch IPS panel featuring full HD resolution, which is the same as the Acer VX 15 and the HP Omen 15t in terms of size and resolution. Nonetheless, the Dell 7567 has a better viewing angle and better colour accuracy.
