Two city reporters win Nefej award

The Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (Nefej) on Monday announced the winners on the occasion of the World Environment Day celebrated on June 5.
Nefej honours journalists for excellence in reporting environmental issues.
Nefej has been presenting the award for the last three decades. The forum awards journalists for reporting topics on environmental conservation through print, electronic and online media.According to a Nefej release, it selected the winner this time based on their “content, facts, language, public interest and writing with natural flair”.
In content analysis, both the journalists are said to have got equal points. “Therefore, we have decided to give this award to both of them,” Nefej stated. The award carries a purse of Rs25,000.
