A meeting of House of Representatives, which was scheduled for Sunday, has been postponed after the government failed to provide expenditure details of various ministries to the House. The meeting under the Appropriation Bill 2075 was scheduled to discuss allocation of budget to various ministries.

Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara called off the meeting after discussions on the budgets allocated to the Ministries of Information and Communications Technology;  Drinking Water; Agriculture, Land Reform and Cooperatives; and Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs failed to take place due to the lack of expenditure details.

Taking special time at the very beginning of the meeting, lawmaker Khagaraj Adhikari expressed concern over the situation being created to obstruct the construction of the Pokhara International Airport.
