Nepal Life Insurance ups paid up capital to Rs4.39b

Nepal Life Insurance Company has said it has raised the paid up capital to Rs4.39 billion, which is in excess to the Insurance Board’s norm of maintaining paid up capital worth Rs2 billion for life insurers. Nepal Life Insurance has been offering its services through 125 branches. It has been awarded four times with ‘Best Management Award’ by New Business Age. In addition, the insurer has also been honoured by ‘Best Practice Award 2016’ from Frost and Sullivan. The company offer bonus of Rs65-82 per Rs1,000 of insurance policy. It has invested Rs57 billion while maintaining a life insurance fund of Rs50 billion. It has insured 2.4 million people, reads a press release. (PR)
