Heavy rain forecast in central and western parts

The Weather Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast heavy rain and partly cloudy skies in scattered parts of central and western over the next three days. Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by partly cloudy to dense clouds is forecast for other areas. The bureaus forecasts heavy rain, valid for the next 24 hours, in western and mid western parts of the country. Although the wet spell continues in the Valley, there is significant rise in day temperatures. The maximum temperature recorded on Wednesday and Thursday in Kathmandu Valley was 31.6 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded as 21.4 degree Celsius. The weather bureau has said temperature would rise across the country over the next two days. Nepalgunj recorded the highest temperature of 38.3 degree Celsius while Jumla recorded the lowest temperature of 24 degree Celsius. Taplejung recorded 29 millimetres of rainfall today while Nepalgunj recorded the lowest rainfall standing at 6mm.
