The youth wings said an hour-long picketing of the administration office and highway obstruction was in protest of the police intervention in a peaceful protest in the Capital’s New Baneshwor on Saturday and in support of the demands put forth by Dr Govinda KC. As a result, thousands of travellers were stranded as vehicles queued up on the highway.
