Oppo has launched the A3s, its first smartphone with dual rear cameras. The new mid-range device from Oppo—the self proclaimed ‘selfie expert and leader’, has a price tag of Rs19,490. According to the company, the A3s is the first Oppo device in the South Asian market which comes with 13 MP 2 MP dual rear cameras along with a 8 MP AI enabled front camera plus a super Full screen. The company is looking to offer users the best smartphone experience in an affordable price range, reads a press release.
CEO of Oppo Nepal Bobby Zhao commented on the latest launch, “Through Oppo A3s, we are trying to fill the gap especially concerning today’s youths—a smartphone with advanced features like a dual camera set-up, a super full screen and extensive battery—yet at an affordable price. With a strong battery life, users will be able to capture moments all day with the new Oppo A3s.”
Oppo A3s is looking to be the new generation selfie expert. It comes with an 8 MP front lens and 13 MP 2 MP dual rear cameras. The front camera uses Oppo’s AI beauty technology that effortlessly helps users take stunning selfies. With the new dual rear camera setup on the A3s, photos will appear sharp and clear, with shallow depth effect as well as the option to shoot wide angle shots.
Users can view their photos on the 6.2-inch super full screen display that promises to deliver an immersive and incredible visual experience. The bezels on the A3s have been shrunk to just 2.05mm thin using flux dispensing technology to further improve the viewing experience.
With the full screen display on the A3s, users will be able to enjoy it while playing games, watching videos or browsing Facebook. The display on the A3s is similar to the ones found on premium models from other brands.
Users will not have to worry about the large screen draining the phone’s battery thanks to the massive 4,230mAh battery in the A3s. Other specifications include the octa-core Snapdragon processor, 16 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM.
All of these is housed inside a unique glossy design that catches the eye with its mesmerising interplay of light and shadow from different angles, states the release. The design promises to make it comfortable for users to hold the A3s.
