Gorkha District Court Registrar Govinda Acharya said they pasted a notice on Nur Prasad’s house as no one was present in the house on Wednesday.
The Chitwan District Court had informed Nur Prasad to appear in the court on August 20 to record his statement, said Acharya. We have sent the notice to ward chairman’s office as well, he said. Nanda Prasad had filed a complaint against some suspects after the murder of his son Krishna Prasad, abducted on June 6, 2004.
One-and-a-half year later, Nur Prasad appealed to the authorities for justice, holding 13 individuals responsible for his brother’s killing.
Nur Prasad went out of contact soon after the death of his father Nanda Prasad Adhikari on September 22, 2014. He died after a year-long hunger strike demanding punitive action against those accused of murdering his son.
