Three boys missing in Kamala River

According to the District Police Office, Manje Mahara, 14, and Rahul Mahara,15, of Golbazaar Municipality-4, and Krishna Kumar Mahato, 19, of Aurahi Rural Municipality-3 are missing after the river swept them away on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred while the trio was taking bath in the river on the eve of the Raksha Bandhan festival.
Police said Suman Kumar Mandal, 21, of Arnama Rural Municipality-5 was rescued alive.
A joint search party of police officers and locals were searching for the missing boys until late Sunday afternoon.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dipendra Sah said there was a high chance of the river currents carrying the victims to India.
Nepal Police is closely working with the Indian authorities in the search mission, he added.
In a separate incident, the body of 60-year-old Pushpalal Tamang was recovered at Khadga Municipality-7 on Saturday evening.
Tamang had gone missing in the flooded Khadga stream on Friday. His body was found about 4km downstream, police said.
Rati Oda, 62, from Tikapur Municipality-1, Kailali, is also missing in the canal of Jamara Irrigation Project.
