Properties worth million of rupees gutted

A fire broke out at a rice mill in Sakhuwa Prasauni Rural Municipality, Parsa, on Saturday morning, destroying property worth millions of rupees. The fire, which originated from a short-circuit at 2:00 am, was put out with the help of the Armed Police Force, Nepal Police and locals,  Assistant Sub Inspector of Police Jibachha Kumar Sharma said. The mill is owned by Gayasuddin Miya. Rice stock, sailor machine, other machinery, and Rs 700,000 cash was gutted in the fire. (RSS)
