Bill on endangered flora, fauna passed

National Assembly, the upper house of the Federal Parliament, has passed the ‘Bill on Prevention of International Trade on Endangered Flora and Fauna (First Amendment), 2075’, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina said.

Chair Timilsina informed the meeting of the upper house today that the bill was passed by the National Assembly meeting on January 13. The bill passed by the upper house was sent to the House of Representatives with suggestions.

Likewise, National Assembly’s secretary Rajendra Phuyal tabled the ‘Pension Fund Bill, 2075’ and the ‘Payment and Clearance Bill, 2075’ in the meeting today.

3 bills presented

Meanwhile, the National Assembly meeting today unanimously approved the proposal seeking to send the ‘Province Public Service Commission (Basis and Criteria Determination) Bill, 2075’ to the legislation management committee for clause-wise discussions.

Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada had presented the proposal in the meeting on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s behalf.

He also presented the ‘Citizens Investment Trust (Second Amendment) Bill, 2075’ in the meeting.

Likewise, the Finance Minister, on behalf of the Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Banskota, presented before the meeting the ‘Advertisement (Regulation) Bill, 2075’.
