Nepali Ambassador to India Nilambar Acharya has said that the report being prepared by the Eminent Persons’ Group (EPG) on Nepal-India relations is a huge achievement for bilateral relations between Nepal and India.

At an event organised  in Kathmandu on Friday, Ambassador Acharya expressed his view that both countries should move ahead learning lessons from the past. “The report offers recommendations on how to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. It is also a reflection of what kind of relations Nepal and India shared during various political leaderships in the country.”

The newly appointed envoy added that how the suggestions will be implemented however will depend on the governments of both the countries. (RSS)
