The Nova series of smartphones from Huawei has been setting the sales charts on fire and with the latest addition, the company is looking to cement their position as the best smartphone manufacturer.
According to Huawei, the Nova 4 is tailor-made for fashion forward consumers who want the latest innovative designs. By adopting the new pinhole display in the Nova 4, Huawei has achieved what was previously unthinkable, engineering a minimalist under-screen camera into an ultra-slim, lightweight chassis.
This new design is poised to completely redefine the rules of smartphone display aesthetics. This means that the front-facing camera in the Nova 4 is located near the top left corner of the device, creating an unconstructive camera system that blends in with the device, delivering a superior user experience, claims the press release.
Huawei put in the engineering effort to create a bold, asymmetric design for their consumers’ desire for something different. Users will be able to use the 25 MP front camera on the Nova 4 and utilise ‘AI Super Selfie’, where the AI camera can recognise over 200 scenes from eight different categories to optimise selfies in real-time, ultimately enhancing the images to be professional looking.
And on the rear, the Nova 4 is using a triple camera system. The main sensor is a 20 MP RGB (colour) sensor while the secondary sensor is a 16 MP ultra wide unit, the third sensor being a 2 MP sensor. Huawei claims that each sensor has its own strengths and uses and when used in conjunction with one another, users can capture wide photos with sharper detail.
Users can then view their professional looking photos on the gorgeous 6.4 inch screen with a resolution of 2310 x 1080. The Nova 4 is also easy on the eyes with its 3D curved glass design, featuring a mesmerising gradient colour that is sure to dazzle your friends. The 3D curved glass design allows users to easily use the device with one hand.
The device comes with Huawei’s latest EMUI 9.0 and 8 GB of RAM.
Huawei is also touting the Nova 4 as a gaming phone. With 128 GB of internal storage, users can install the latest games and not worry about running out of space. The Nova 4 is powered by GPU Turbo technology to improve game fluency, reads the press release.
