CHITWAN: The CC cameras installed at Barandabhar section of Tikauli forest along the East West Highway have been out of operation for the past six months. Two and a half years ago, the Chitwan National Park had installed 10 closed-circuit cameras with a cost of Rs1.6 million in the Barandabhar section to monitor the movement of vehicles. Dhan Bahadur Thapa, chief of the Armed Forest Guard Training Centre, said they are taking initiatives to repair the broken cameras, which were installed to minimise wildlife deaths in road accidents.
