Fake consumer committee formed to claim government budget

RAJBIRAJ: A fake committee has been made to mobilise the fund of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructures Development in Saptari, Province-2. The fake consumer committee has been formed on the pretext of upgrading a road in Chhinamasta Rural Municipality-5. Sources said that BP Yadav, former lawmaker of then Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Nepal, is involved in forming the fake consumer committee. Yadav and Hari Narayan Mandal, central members of the Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal, were arrested in a forgery case on April 18. They were arrested on the charges of forging government stamps and documents, and forming a fake consumer committee to receive government budget. (PR)
