The investors did not buy or sell any shares that halted all trade despite Nepse opening up for business.
The investors have intensified their protest after talks with the Ministry of Finance ended inconclusively. The traders today have organised a gherao outside the Nepse and Securities Board of Nepal premises to express their dissatisfaction at the government’s move.
Meanwhile, various investor associations have issued statement urging investors and broker companies not to trade shares on Tuesday and facilitate them in the ongoing protests.
