Rautahat police have arrested 11 people, including the ward chairman of Katahariya Municipality-9, in connection to the abduction and murder of 12-year-old Yuvaraj Sah.
Superintendent of Police Rabindra KC said Ramagya Raya Yadav, the ward chairman of Katahariya-9, was among the 11 people who were being held in custody for questioning.
Police investigation has revealed that Yadav’s son Shakti was one of the main suspect in the crime.
Yuvaraj was kidnapped from his house on Saturday night. His body was found on the bank of Bagmati River in Gadimai Municipality-5 on Monday. He had been shot in his head.The abductors had demanded Rs 10 million ransom for Yuvaraj’s release. Five of the 11 suspects were arrested on Monday.
