It is in difficult times like this that a helping hand means the most. We are proud that the United States was able to demonstrate our deep friendship with the government and people of Nepal in this time of need,” said Ambassador Teplitz during the handover ceremony.
The reconstruction project comprised constructing two new buildings, renovating the existing building, and equipping all buildings according to the Ministry of Health and Population standards. The project was implemented by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Minister Yadav thanked the US government for its assistance and expressed hope that the new health centre will provide health facilities to thousands of people in the quake-affected area.
