Secretaries brief PM on action plan

In a weekend meeting held at Singha Durbar, PM Oli heard the time-bound action plans of 13 ministries presented by their respective secretaries.
On July 11, the PM received similar briefing. A month ago, he had told ministers and secretaries to come up with quarterly action Minister Sher Bahadur Tamang, the prime minister instructed ministers to complete works on a war footing, warning that their performance would be evaluated on the basis of outcome.
According to NCP leader and foreign policy expert Rajan Bhattarai, the PM also heard the plans of the National Planning Commission and the National Reconstruction Authority. The PM would hear from the constitutional bodies next.
Bhattarai claimed this to be a new practice initiated by PM Oli to ensure timely implementation of budget and to prevent wastage of resources by doing works in the rainy season.
