Dr KC agrees to come to Kathmandu

Dr KC said so to his aide and the government team who had reached Jumla to bring the agitating doctor to the Capital for medical treatment. Dr KC said that he agreed to go to Kathmandu as the ‘situation changed’.
The government on Thursday had sent a Nepal Army chopper along with Education Secretary Khagaraj Baral and Health Department Director General Dr Gunaraj Lohani to Jumla to bring the anti-corruption crusader.
“Dr KC has said that he will come to Kathmandu,” said Department of Health Director General Gunaraj Lohani talking to the Post on telephone, “We will transport him to Kathmandu in a while.”
Earlier, today, the police had resorted to baton charge and allegedly opened fire when students and locals protested at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences.
