Modi set to open pilgrims’ house
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the dharmashala built at Pashupatinath during his upcoming visit to Nepal for the BIMSTEC Summit. During his stay, the Indian PM will inaugurate the Dharmashala built with India’s assistance. Ahead of India’s 72nd Independence Day, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri revealed the plan of the Indian Prime Minister opening the rest house.
Two years ago, India provided Rs219.9 million to build the facility with dormitories, family rooms, kitchen, dining hall, library and some multipurpose halls to meet the requirements of the groups and families on pilgrimage to the temple.
