Speaking to journalists in Biratnagar on Tuesday, Yadav, who is also the Minister for Health and Population, said the party had grievances and differing views when the constitution was promulgated and the problems would be resolved through constitutional process.
“Our political course before the election has been changed after the polls,” said Yadav, “As we have reached the constitutional process after the formation of three-level of governments, now we will move ahead through the amendment of constitution.”
“At present, the necessary laws are in the phase of formation and we will enter the phase of constitution amendment after the completion of formulating the laws,” Yadav said.
Saying that the government has formulated important laws related to fundamental rights, DPM Yadav said, “Law related to citizenship is on the cards and the first phase will be completed after the formulation of some other new laws.”
He said that organising protest programmes on the Constitution Day is not the official position of SSFN, no matter who ever issued the press statement to stage demonstration on that day.
