IT competition among visually impaired
Somraj KC of Palpa has won the information technology competition among visually impared people. Gautam Pokharel finished the first runner-up in the competition, while Ashish Khatiwada the second runner-up, and Rabindra Mahato of Salyan the third runner-up. The winner received a laptop, while the first runner-up was presented with a desktop computer. Likewise, the second runner-up got a mobile phone and the third runner-up a scanner. Former DIG of Nepal Police Ramesh Kharel and Dr Birendra Raj Pokharel jointly distributed the awards amid a programme organised on Saturday coinciding with the 210th Louis Braille Day. (RSS)
