The Ministry of Health and Population has formed a team to hold dialogue with the agitating Government Doctors’ Association and Health Assistants’ Association. A three-member team under Director General of Department of Health Services Dr Gunaraj Lohani has been formed to hold talks with the agitating government medical practitioners who are on a strike, demanding the government revisit the Employees’ Adjustment Ordinance. Administration chief at the Ministry Janardan Guragain and cheif of Coordination Division Mahendra Prasad Shrestha are other members on the team. Shrestha, also the spokesperson for the ministry, said the government talks team would sit for dialogue with the associations on Monday.
