Oppo has slashed the price of its A3s (3GB) smartphone by Rs1,900. The phone which was launched in mid-September for Rs26,490 will now cost Rs24,590.
The ever-evolving smartphone brand brought the A3s into the market loaded with features more commonly found on high-end smartphones. It was the first Oppo device with dual rear cameras along with a 8 megapixel (MP) AI enabled front camera. It was also the first A-series device from the company with a Super Fullscreen display.
According to the company, the A3s is targeted at today’s youths who want advanced features on their smartphones at an affordable price. It housed a dual camera setup—13MP + 2MP—to allow customers to take sharp and clear photos with shallow depth effect as well as the option to shoot wide angle shots.
Users can view their photos on the 6.2-inch super full screen display that promises to deliver an immersive and incredible visual experience. The bezels on the A3s have been shrunk to just 2.05mm thin using flux dispensing technology to further improve the viewing experience.
With the full screen display on the A3s, users will be able to enjoy it while playing games, watching videos or browsing Facebook. The display on the A3s is similar to the ones found on premium models from other brands.
Users will not have to worry about the large screen draining the phone’s battery thanks to the massive 4,230mAh battery in the A3s. Other specifications include the octa-core Snapdragon processor, 16 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM.
