Sah appointed NAMS vice-chancellor

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is the chancellor of the academy appointed Sah on Friday evening at the recommendation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population Upendra Yadav.
Meanwhile, Minister Yadav, who is also the pro-chancellor of the academy appointed Professor Subodh Kumar Adhikari as rector, Professor Pramila Dewan as registrar, Professor Peeyus Dahal as dean of the academy and Dr Kedar Prasad Century, as director of Bir Hospital on the recommendation of newly appointed Vice-chancellor Sah.
Minister Yadav administered the oath of office and secrecy to all newly appointed office bearers in the presence of Prime Minister Oli.
PM Oli directed newly appointed office bearers to start work to built Bir Hospital in Bhaktapur district, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
Stressing the need to develop the existing Bir hospital as a city hospital, the prime minister has also directed them to break the tradition of senior doctor skipping providing care to the patients.
