26 boys rescued from Bihar, India

DHANUSHA: Twenty-six boys from four districts of Province 2 have been rescued from Sitamarhi, the Indian state of Bihar. Indian authorities rescued the children from Sitamarhi buspark on March 28, while they were on their way to Chennai. The rescued boys were sent back to Nepal on Friday. Saroj Raya, a social campaigner who received the children from India, said the children were handed over to their families on Saturday. Twelve of the rescued boys are from Mahottari, while nine are from Dhanusha, three from Siraha and two from Sarlahi. (PR)
