The road connecting Nepal and China that was blocked following the earthquake of April 25 has finally been cleared on Friday.
The removal of debris has cleared the way for resuming the Tatopani entry point to Nepal from China’s autonomous region Tibet. The landslides have been removed from the Araniko highway at Liping in Sindhupalchok district.
According to Road Division Office Charikot, the road opened from Friday Evening. “Though the track has opened it will to a couple more days for resumption of vehicular movement,” said Engineer Ram Bahadur Gurung.
