For the first time in a week, 38 fuel tankers entered Nepal from Trinagar-Gaurifanta border crossings at Dhangadi in Kailali district on Tuesday.
The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) imports for Far-West region from Wanthara depot of Sahajapur in India. According to NOC regional office spokesperson Shiva Raj Bhandari, 34 tankers carrying 600,000 litres of diesel and four tankers carrying 80,000 litres of petrol entered Nepal today.
This is the first shipment of fuel to arrive Nepal after it stopped on Wednesday. “The Indian side had been refusing to supply fuel citing that there was not stock.
