Sara Devi Tamang and her brother Ratnajit won the Krishna Mohan Memorial Open Badminton Champion-ships titles for the third consecutive time on Friday. 

Sara continued her dominance over her sister and fellow Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) shuttler Nangshal Devi winning the women’s singles final 21-13, 22-20. It was her fifth Krishna Mohan Memorial title. Ratnajit, also of TAC, beat Bikash Shrestha of Nepal APF Club 21-19, 21-19 to lift the men’s singles trophy. 

Meanwhile, the mixed doubles category found a new winners as Bikash Shrestha and Puja Shrestha of APF dethroned holders Sara Devi and Ratnajit 21-16, 21-14. Also, Ratnajit and Ram Rai of TAC beat Bishal Pradhan and Bimal Shrestha 21-13, 22-20 in the men’s doubles final. 

Nabin Shrestha of  APF beat Gautam Kathayat of Kailali 21-13, 21-18 in U-17 boys’ singles final and Jessica Gurung of TAC defeated Sunaina Mukhiya of Jhapa 21-14, 21-23, 21-16 in the U-17 girls’ singles final.
