According to Tikaram Puri, Morang Chairman of the PABSON, around 80 schools associated to the PABSON will remain closed until May 16.
The PABSON has announced the school holiday following pressure from the guardians after the students in the district began suffering from hepatitis E and A due to the contaminated drinking water distributed by the Nepal Drinking Water Supply Corporation, he added.
As many as 11 persons have died so far while around seven thousand are suffering from the jaundice epidemic in Biratnagar.
