PM returns from 2-day China visit
Prime Minister Sushil Koirala arrived here in the Capital on Friday evening wrapping up his two-day visit to China during which he met with vice-premier of the People's Republic of China.Ekantipur Report
Koirala had left for Kunming city, Yunnan Province of the People's Republic of China on Thursday leading a 33-mmeber delegation. He met the Chinese vice-premier this morning.
During the meeting held at the Saigon Garden Hotel, Kunming , the duo discussed various issues of mutual interests between the two countries.
On the occasion, PM Koirala urged vice-premier Wang for the financial support and investment in Nepal, according to PM's personal aide.
Earlier today, Koirala participated at the inaugural ceremony of the Second China South Asia Expo and addressed the ceremony as key note speaker before inaugurating the Nepali pavilion at the Exposition.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Koirala had met with Governor of the Yunnan Province Lee ZiHang and Yunnan Province Secretary of the Community Party, China, Qin Guangrong.
Representatives of various political parties, lawmakers, PM's advisors, high ranking government officials and the Nepali Ambassador to China were part of the delegation.
