The Ministry of Home Affairs has said that its attention has been drawn towards the news disseminated by different media regarding two-day holiday announced by the government and cleared it was baseless.

Different media on Saturday had disseminated the news that the government has given holiday for Sunday and Monday keeping in view of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Nepal visit.

Issuing a press release today, the Home Ministry appealed to public not to be misled by the said news.
