CA Chairman Subas Chandra Nembang administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed CA members.

CA members Radheshyam Adhikari, Shiva Bahadur Khadka, Puskar Acharya, Resham Baniya, Sakal Dev Sutihar, Suryadev Das Urab, Umesh Shrestha and Anil Kumar Rungta took the oath from Nepali Congress.

Likewise, Udaya Nepali, Agni Kharel, Ganga Dangi, Mira Dhwoju, Naresh Kharel, Pemba Bhote, Rajan Bhattarai and Partaman Dhimal of CPN-UML also took the oath of office and secrecy.

RPP-Nepal lawmaker Ganesh Thapa was not present at the oath taking ceremony.

The nominations of 17 CA members in 26 vacant CA seats came nine months after the CA elections and six months after Cabinet formation.

A meeting of the Cabinet decided on the nomination of eight Nepali Congress CA members, eight from the CPN-UML and one from the RPP-Nepal while the four seats allocated to the opposition UCPN (Maoist) and four others to fringe parties are yet to be filled.
