The Deputy Prime Minister was on inspection visit after the water level in the lake formed after a massive landslide on August 2 receded around 18 metres after the dam broke open in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
DPM Gautam slipped and injured his left knee while he was returning on foot after inspecting the site at 4 pm today. He returned back to Kathmandu after receiving first aid treatment requiring five stitches for his wound at Khadichaur.
