Speaking at the closing ceremony of the march organised to mark late BP Koirala’s birth centenary at Sundarijal based BP Museum on Tuesday, PM Koirala said the constitution will be drafted through consensus. The march started from Biratnagar on August 17.
“Talks with Baidya ji are cordial. We had a telephone conversation today as well. I have urged Baidya ji who is at Dadeldhura to return back early to forge a consensus,” said Baidya. PM Koirala informed that agreement will be forged on the basis of equality and not by belittling someone.
During the programme, NC leader and former PM Sher Bahadur Deuba said that BP Koirala’s followers should take his path adding that a true tribute will be paid to him if the constitution is forged within the slated time.
Likewise, NC Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel said that the party needs to do the politics of moral norms and values to pay respects to BP Koirala. He remarked that politics of consensus and co-work is the need of the hour rather than the politics of addition and subtraction.
Party General Secretaries Prakash Man Singh and Krishna Prasad Sitaula also addressed the programme.
