The talks, underway since the past two days, concluded today after the chief executive officers of IBN and Satluj reached an agreement on the yet-to-be agreed points. IBN CEO Radhesh Pant and Satluj’s RK Agrawal were present during the talks.
“We will send an official draft to Sutlej tomorrow based on the agreement reached today,” Pant said, “We will then finalise the date for signing Project Development Agreement after holding a board meeting once they pass the draft.” He further added that the agreement was in favour of the country.
Preparations are underway to sign the PDA during the upcoming visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the 18th Saarc Summit in Kathmandu on November 22-27.
