Family members of transport entrepreneur Guru Dayal Mahato are worried as they could not get any information about his whereabouts till date.
Mahato of Lahan Municipality-3 of Siraha district was kidnapped on November 15 from Pansera VDC along the East-West Highway.
Ram Dayal, brother of Guru Dayal, said his brother went out of contact from 7:00 pm while he was returning Lahan from Itahari carrying passengers in his own vehicle.
He said they knew that his brother was kidnapped after the vehicle driven by him was found in an unattended condition near Amaha.
Ram Dayal appealed all to save the life of his brothers and take initiative to search for him.
Deputy Superintendent of police at the Area Police Office, Lahan, Gyanendra Phunyal said that a special team of police from Siraha and Saptari districts has been mobilized to carry out investigation into the kidnap case.
He said condition of Guru Dayal would be made public soon. RSS
