Talking to media after inaugurating a cadres training at Itahari, Sunsari on Tuesday, leader Oli urged party cadres to be ready for responding to the plots to jeopardise the social harmony with the slogans of ethnical and regional politics.
Country is common for all and none is entitled to jeopardise people's existence by fueling ethnical and regional disputes, he said.
Nepal, a home to the brave, a country rich in natural beauty and gifts and of the Mount Everest and where the Gautam Buddha, the light of the world, was born, should be taken toward progress and prosperity, he added. Giving the example of the small country Ruwanda, which was torn apart by racial conflict, he said the ethnic and regional politics could invite the similar fate to Nepal.
The UML chair further called on all political parties not to get entangled in minor agendas and work with full dedication to drafting a new constitution on time.
He further argued that the UML is that party that is able to steer the country and people to right path. RSS
