3 customs employees detained on graft charge
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has detained three employees from the Nepalgunj Customs Office on graft charge.

The CIAA team dispatched from its regional office arrested Nayab Subba (Non-Gazetted First Class officer) Shankar Prasad Timilsaina from his office room on Sunday. The officials of the anti-graft agency said that bribe amount of Rs 27,000 has been recovered from the possession of Timilsaina. Two other employees, Tara Chandra Ghimire and Krishna Prasad Thapa, who were at Timilisaina's room during the raid, were also taken under control for inquiries. "Timilsaina has been arrested following repeated complaints that he takes bribes from service seekers," said an investigation officer.
