The National Emergency Operation Centre under the Home Ministry informed that of the total death toll, 8,154 people were killed due to the April 25 massive quake and 96 due to the May 12 powerful aftershock.
According to the latest update, as many as 673 government offices were completely damaged while 742 were partly damaged.
Similarly, 479,308 houses of the public were completely destroyed and 263,036 partly destroyed by the devastating earthquake and aftershocks, it is learnt. RSS
