According to OCE, 215 examinees passed with A+ grade,  779 got A grade, 2131 got B grade, 124 got C grade. Only one student passed with D grade and none of the examinees have got E grade.

The students who got C grade, or below, can sit for supplementary exams, if they are dissatisfied with their score in any subject.

A total of 3256 examines—2010 boys and 1246 girls—had appeared in the exam held in March.

The technical education was introduced by the Ministry of Education in 2012 as a pilot project for students from 99 public schools across the country. The government has decided to adopt the grading system in SLC results for technical category from this year. The system will be gradually implemented for the general category as well.

Some 4,500 students were registered for five categories of vocational and technical education—agriculture, engineering, hotel and hospitality management, computer science and livestock farming.
