The UCPN (Maoist) boycotted the Legislature-Parliament meeting for the second consecutive day on Tuesday claiming that the government unilaterally endorsed the budget.

UCPN (M) lawmaker Prabhu Sah said the budget was prepared without paying heed to the peace agreement and post quake situation of the country. Sah objected to the unilateral move of the government while endorsing the budget and said the Maoist party would not participate in the discussion.
The discussion on the Appropriation Bill had started from Monday—three weeks after the endorsement of the budget.
The next meeting has been summoned at 3 pm on Wednesday.
